The Youth GrantMakers Council (YGMC) is a youth organization focused on improving the community by providing grants to youth-led projects.

Council Update
The members of YGMC are hard at work reading through the many grant applications that came in this cycle and they are also reviewing nominations for the Youth Citizenship Award. An announcement of the grant recipients and the Youth Citizenship Award winner will be made later this spring.

Membership for the 2010-2011 Council
There is still time left to apply for membership for the 2010-2011 Youth GrantMakers Council. The only requirements to be a member are that applicants must be attending a Saline County high school for the 2010-2011 school year and be willing to attend two meetings a month. We especially need current 8th graders and freshman to apply because these age groups are the hardest to recruit. The applications are to be postmarked by April 1st and there will be interviews for applicants shortly after. Applications can be found on our Forms page.
